quick post about love
just found out that one of my best friends just got engaged.
i had a patient couple weeks back who has been married for the past 68 years and going. (married his high school sweetheart). he told me everything there is to know about love. but the most important message that i took home that day (and from love actually) is that love is everywhere and you have to work hard to keep it burning strong....

i took my dad in for eye surgery this morning. he had cataracts, so in order to correct this problem the doctor gave him a new intraocular lens. the lens will allow him to see perfectly without the use of glasses/contacts ever again! i was surprised to see that the surgery only took 25 minutes. now he will have perfect vision when he gets his bandages removed tmrw. but until then he looks like a...
i’m back in the bay, and in no way does the weather compare to SD. i wanna go back

haven’t blogged in forever.. just saw valentine’s day with all the KPers. i thought it was entertaining, but it comes nowhere close to love actually. love actually was such a great movie. btw if LA were a 10 then VD is a 2.
now i’m up thinking about life.. aka dreams, fears, school, life after school, mcat, graduation, girls, love… the list goes on and on. good night.

ahahahaaha! a whole article explaining the defensive strategy oregon will try to put on cal’s running back, jahvid best. according to the article, oregon’s linebackers have sprinter speed and whatnot. and supposedly they could optimize/rearrange their defensive positions according their players’ natural abilities within a week, just to defend against jahvid. but how is oregon...

why did i name my running shoes Juliet? (ala slumdog millionaire)
A) I cheated
B) I am a genius
C) I am lucky
D) It is destiny
so i ran in my brand new kicks (see below) around hercules for 7mi. i decided that when i hit my runner’s high i would name my shoes. so i named her Juliet. i dont know why. but it just popped in my head.
so i wiki’d juliet to see the etymology behind it....
